Bespoke Designs
Solar energy systems are compatible with traditional as well as modern building materials and styles. Using Solar PV panels and modules in much the same way as you would use safety glass, unique and innovative solar power systems can be designed, built and integrated into buildings and landscapes.
By taking the best aspects of architecture, metalwork, glasswork, electrics and roofing. We design innovative systems that ensure that the addition of a solar energy system will also add to a property's appeal and value as well as generating the power required for use locally and or for export.
Installing in Stages
It's fair to say that generating significant amounts of heat and or power from an installation usually means a large financial investment and potentially distruption to operations. When we install in stages we incorporate future planning and installation roadmaps in order to get pieces of a renewable energy system installed when funds are available and conditions are right at the installation site.
The idea being that no part of the system will operate in isolation and every new part added to the system adds to the overall system performance. Components installed at the early stages such as power inverters are sized to deal with the expanded energy system as it grows.
This method is especially relevant for large installations, effective roadmap planning and installing in stages makes sense and utilises the available resources efficiently as and when they become available.
Combining Technologies
There are some renewable energy systems that work well together. These compatible technologies include Wind Turbines, Wood Source Boilers, Ovens and Fires, Solar Hot Water Systems, Water Turbines, Air Source Heat Pumps, Ground Source Heatpumps, Rainwater Harvesting and many others. We are able to provide consultation, design and installation services for clients installing multiple technologies alongside Solar Photovoltaics..
Unique & Listed Properties
Although planning controls have recently been relaxed in terms of installing microgeneration and renewable energy systems. Unique and listed properties can be limited in the scope of a renewable energy project due to reasons such as planning or needing to maintain the original integrity or asthetics of a building.
There are effective solutions that can be used to generate heat or power whilst complementing a building or remaining hidden. Systems can be built unseen into the fabric of the building or can have stand alone structures built nearby dedicated to generating heat and power.
