We work with homeowners, businesses, trade clients and solar manufacturers to design, supply and install solar PV energy systems all over southern England. Nearly all of the systems that we install are custom designed for the client and unique to their project.

We are looking to find hardworking and skilled professionals, available for short term contract work who can provide either additional or specialist skills in support of our on-site engineers.

The work we do is interesting, varied and challenging. We enjoy and take pride in the work we do and are looking to work with people who feel the same. Below we provide examples of the trades we need and outline the type of work that we carry out.

Electricians

We are looking for qualified electricians at all levels to work in support of our electricians on-site. Knowledge and experience in working with PV is beneficial but not essential. First and foremost we need accurate, reliable and skilled electricians with the minimum of the 17th edition and knowledge of the building regulations.

You will typically be installing armoured cables, inverters, trunking and conduit, AC and DC isolators and distribution boards, working with both single and three phase power networks.

We will work with teams or individuals and offer quick payment and fair and simple contract terms. You will provide your own tools and transport.

Roofing Contractors

We are looking for experienced roofing contractors that we can work with primarily to install the more challenging roof integrated PV systems on both residential and commercial roofspaces. Experience of PV is not essential, it is much more important for us to find skilled and experienced roofers with a portfolio of quality work and references.

Although there will always be an engineer or a project manager working alongside you on-site we are looking for roofing contractors with the experience and capacity to handle a complete roofing project including involvement with system design and the installation of the PV panels and mounting system. You will be in a position to offer an insurance backed warranty of at least 5 years preferably over 10 for the work carried out.

Groundworks

We need experienced groundworks crews with their own machinery and tools primarily to safely install underground conduit for power cables but also to get involved with site levelling, landscaping and pile driving.

You will already know how to locate and avoid existing underground services, you will know the correct depths that cables need to be buried and you will be comfortable with the safety precautions that need to be taken when working with and installing power cables.
