Solar PV Case Study: Eco House, Uxbridge

When we first heard about this innovative new build project happening right on our doorstep we didn't hesitate when we got the chance to get involved. This project succesfully integrates a number of renewable energy systems including solar PV with innovative new building materials and techniques.

Enlarge Image	Background: The solar PV system is the properties primary source of electrical power, running in parallel with the national grid. Three independent solar PV panel arrays deliver the base power needed by 2 x air source heat pumps, a rainwater harvesting system and a heat recovery system. Physically the solar PV system is integrated into the roof of the building across three aspects (East, South & West).
